Art tour: Blystad and the city
Did you know that the roof at the Oslo Opera House is an art work?
- Thursday 3 sep, 14:00
For six decades, sculptor Kristian Blystad has colored and shaped the capital’s public space with his art – from the north in Groruddalen, to the south at Filipstadkaia, as well as monumental works in Klosterenga Park and the Oslo Opera House.
For Blystad’s 80th anniversary, the Vigeland Museum and The City of Oslo Art Collection are collaborating to highlight Blystad’s artistry in the exhibition Monolithos. As part of this, we invite you on a guided tour that shows a selection of Blystad’s works outdoors.
The tour starts at OsloMet and ends at the Vigeland Museum where you can see Blystad’s exhibition.
