Natural History Museum

Experience 4,5 billion years of natural history at Norway’s biggest natural history museum.

Our exhibitions cover topics spanning from animals from all over the world to breath taking minerals, to the history of life and climate change. The Botanical Garden is also part of the museum and is a green oasis divided into thematic gardens with a total of 5.500 plant species both outdoors and in greenhouses. Hungry? Enjoy a packed lunch on the picnic lawn or visit the café Handwerk Botaniske.

You’ll find us in central Oslo, between Løkka and Tøyen.

Free drop-in for students during Studentslippet.

Botanical Garden is open daily 07-21
