The annual Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition, A MESSAGE TO HUMANITY, tells the powerful story of Nihon Hidankyo, the Japanese organization for survivors of the atomic bombs in 1945, and their work for a nuclear weapon-free world. The Will to Change the World is an inspiring exhibition on Alfred Nobel and the history of the peace prize, which shows the power that resides in “the world’s most prestigious prize.” Until 31 August, you can also experience Erik Johansson’s surreal art universe in the exhibition THE ECHO CHAMBER.
In the Medal Chamber, you can see a real peace prize medal, while the Nobel Field is the heart of the Peace Center. In this evocative room, you get to meet every peace prize laureate, surrounded by a thousand small lights.
