About the centre
The 22 July Centre will disseminate knowledge about the terror attack in the Government Quarter and on Utøya on 22 July 2011. Through exhibitions, teaching and documentation, the 22 July Centre will contribute to a history-conscious management of the memory of the terror attack, for the schools and the general public. The Centre will facilitate discussion and reflection on 22 July 2011 and related topics, in the light of historical and contemporary, national and global issues.

About the exhibitions
The Public Conversation about 22 July is an exhibition that presents the course of events on 22 July 2011 through a timeline, and which highlights the attempts to explain the causes and consequences of the terror attack.

In addition to The Public Conversation about 22 July, there will be a temporary exhibition focusing on media during the period 22 July–26 July. The title of this exhibition is MEDIA. This exhibition will open during the period 19 July–14 April.
