A national remembrance and learning centre about the 22 July attacks. Welcome!

About the centre
The 22 July Centre will disseminate knowledge about the terror attack in the Government Quarter and on Utøya on 22 July 2011. Through exhibitions, teaching and documentation, the 22 July Centre will contribute to a history-conscious management of the memory of the terror attack, for the schools and the general public. The Centre will facilitate discussion and reflection on 22 July 2011 and related topics, in the light of historical and contemporary, national and global issues. You can find more information about the centre at

About the exhibitions
The Public Conversation about 22 July is an exhibition that presents the course of events on 22 July 2011 through a timeline, and which highlights the attempts to explain the causes and consequences of the terror attack.

Our exhibition is open for visits Thursday to Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM.

For security reasons, we cannot allow strollers, rolling suitcases, and large bags.

Welcome to our centre!
